Hi! Richard Bailey here. That's me
to the right. I began my BMX life back in about 1973 or so just
riding my bike trying to jump stuff in Southern California. Somewhere
around 1976 I met a few friends who were into BMX, one of whom was
a guy by the name of Eddie Fiola. (Don't know him? Google him).
We rode everyday finding sewer canals to ride in, dirt jumps to
jump etc... Somewhere around 1978 we started riding in SOCAL's legendery
"Lakewood Skatepark". 1st contest was in 1979 sponsored
by Haro, Premiere Helmets, Jeff Bottema, Bob Morales' "Sticker
Factory" and Thrasher magazine. 1st Place - Eddie Fiola, 2nd
Place - Yours Truly, 3rd Place - Fred Becker, 4th Place - Don't
know beyond this point. Even back then, riding in Skateparks, we
used number plates. We did some racing at Ascot Raceway. Now, many
years later, I'm enjoying BMX more than ever. So much so that I
started making number plates in 2003. I'm striving to provide you
with a quality product with an edge, literally. I've added an edge/Trim
(Black or Chrome) and Flames for a really cool look. So, I hope
you take a look at my Number Plate product and give it a try this
season.
Keep up your training. Keep improving on yourself in all aspects
of your lilfe & racing career. Lord willing and my health keeps
up I'll see you at the track! Take Care. -Richard Bailey
